Basement
Basement ceiling: ductwork boxed in, bulkheads and drywall
An older basement ceiling opened up, the ducts and beams boxed in with framed bulkheads, then boarded, taped and mudded around new lights.

In progress
Work in an older basement with a low, busy ceiling: insulation and old ceiling pulled back, the main trunk ducts and beams boxed in with framed bulkheads, and the ceiling furred so it could be boarded flat.
Then drywall over the ceiling and bulkheads, taped and mudded around new light boxes and vents, with the walls primed white and the rooms ready for paint and flooring.
